ok,still waiting till September for next Cat scan, here is my problem, my family doctor sent me to an ENT Doctor for a lump near my jaw, he order a cat skan right away, i got the results and have to take them to him, (done at a ddifferent hospital) the report says, They see the one that is a swollen lmphnode as well as several more ( i havent felt those yet), it is listed on there as either systemic lymphnatic disorder or lymphoma or leukimia,DAMN, so now i am getting him the disk with the cat skan on it tomorrow, and will wait for him to call me to see what do do next, i dont have a clue, I had blood work done 2 months ago, all my white and red blood counts were normal and everything was within range of tollerance

any advise? and could the "nodes" on my lungs be related to the other problem? thanks in advance ofr opinions

He sounded just like my lung doctor, "it doesnt look like lymphoma", but I dont know for sure, wait till August 27th to see me again, by than I will be back from Europe, really, you dont have a clue what it is, he said no, one lymph node is 1.7 cm , I have another on the other side of my jaw as well, he didnt say what size it was, so wait 3 months?hell by than ,he going to order another cat skan as well? I dont know, do yall think I need to just go somewhere else and have the lungs and lymph nodes looked at and get a second opinion? I just want to know there is nothing wrong, but why would I have lymph node problems and lung nodules on my lungs as well?

I don't know, I guess I would lose confidence in this doctor of yours.  I think I'd check into another opinion Diane.  I'm not sure exactly what is going on, and I'm guessing you want to find out sooner rather than later.  So, is there any possible way to get another opinion other than "wait"?

You need to drop your doctor and get in to see a 5 star doctor,  Pulmonologist first , Oncologist, or Radiation Oncologist ASAP. Any of those will know what to do. If i were a betting man, i would gues you have a Systemic problem, meaning its in your blood and system. Your doctor just wants you to come back and is not interested in your health, he just wants your $.

You need to have it biopsied right away and find out exactly what type of cancer it is, if it's Cancer.

I am a 4 time Lung Cancer Survivor and here are all my personal notes. You can use Healthgrades.com on my websiteor just type it in, to find a 5 star doctor.

A Pulmonologist will know what to do, but you need to insist you have a complete work up consisting of a full body PET Scan, Biopsy, Blood Work including an EAC (Tumor Marker).

EAC will it show up any cancer or just a certain type? I already see a plumnnologist, thinking of changing him too, he told me last time the node was too small, now that I have another problem, i figured it would be biopsyed, also, i have a stange hard lump on top of the skin on my arm, it has been there a couple of months, all of it together has me wondering, I looked up pics of melanoma, and I found a pic that looks just like it

Go see your Pulmonologist and ask him all these questions. But do it fast. You need to get into treatment right away.
