My Friends on Pancreatic Board

Hi I came here about 17 Months ago Looking for help and support -for my wifes whipple and recovery ,she is still doing good and has a scan in July ,but the help and advice was so valuable _ I have been lucky enough to wear the badge of caregiver for 17 months and have grown fond of it --but now I find myself in a situation --I was just Diagnosed with cancer myself small cell carcinoma lung cancer - and am going for a pet scan this wed -if you could keep me in your  thoughts     and prayers  ,for good results         Thanks Tom

Please do not dispair. My sister, a non smoker, had a tumor in her lung. She went to MSK, Sloan Memorial, and had surgery. It was removed completly and no chemo necessary. There is hope. 

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that everything goes well and for your complete recovery.

Thanks for letting us know. My family will keep you in prayer, especially on Wed. I have written you down in my prayer book.

I Peter 5:7 says to "Cast ALL your cares upon Him, for He cares for you"  I have had to stand on the promises of God and I know that He is faithful!

I will be praying for you. I truly hope the cancer is treatable and you are able to beat it! I will continue to pray for your wife, as well. 

I am so sorry you have to go through this, and I know we will never understand why certain things happen to us---- but I do believe a loving God watches over all of us and He will sustain you no matter what lies ahead. I will be praying!!!!

Linda Hi -Hope things went well on your scan

Me and my wife had an unusual Day today . I was in one room having a Brain scan and my wife in another having her 3 month scan  at the same place IM praying everthing goes good for her as well as you We will get her results next week ..as for me I have Stage 4 small cell lung cancer with mets to femor bones and pelvis,I have alot of faith that with God,good medicine and Doctors We will be Ok  Thanks for thinking about us   Tom
