Has anybody around this age tried Avastian and if did, has it worked?

Hi Nina,

My dad was 72. We tried avastin, but I think we started it too late. It did not work.  I always think it's worth a try though, if it's not to difficult to get.

Good luck,

Stephanie

My husband was diagnosed with GBM IV almosts 21 months ago.  He is only 58, but has not had any treatments since March 2010 due to low platelet count.  Thank God is tumor has been stable all this time according to MRI's.  We have had 2 Avastin infusions this past month, and I think he feels better and more normal than he has in along time.  I just hope it continues... Good Luck to you and God Bless......
