I have carcinoma in situ. How contaigous is the bcg bacteria, does wife or myself need to wear mask for the 6 hours after injection. Any ideas on what to eat or drink to alleviate burning when going to the BR. I seem to have a senstive bladder and enlarged prostate (80 cm). Is it hard to hold the BCG in the bladder for two hours. what are the side effects. thanks for any insight.

If you get no answers here, go to Inspire, Bladder Advocacy Group, many helpful people there. Mine was too far along for bcg so I'm not very helpful on that subject, Good luck.
