My husband didn't have the chemo, so I can't help you on that.  However, as for the constant runny nose, have you tried the Neilmed Sinus rinses.  It also helps to put a teaspoon of white vinegar in each rinse.

Did  you lose your hair from chemo?  If you did you probably lost hair in your nose as well.  This will cause your nose to run, mine did, but when hair started back in nose problem was solved.  Hope this helps.

I had quite a bit of chemo. Before my stem cell transplant you will loose your hair mostlikly all of it everywhere. It will grow back. More important than that is you might start feeling sick. So many people have. Fortunitly i did not. I have always drank a great deal of water and in the hospital i continued to do so, in fact i drank so much steril water they began checking my out put all through my stay there. My doctor said that was mostly likely the reason why i did not get sick. Other patients on the cancer floor did. Hope this info. Helps.

Ah ha!! My nose ran constantly, you are the first other person that I have ran into that said that happened to them also. I never thought about the hair in my nose being gone, that would for sure do it. My nose still runs more than it did before chemo but nothing like it did while I was having treatments. Probably much of my nose hair didn't grow back, my eyebrows didn't grow back much either. So now I know !!!
