10 years ago I had cancer and together with a lumpectomy I received radiation. Now 10 years later I have just learned I have angiosarcoma as a result of the radiation. I am now scheduled for a series of tests, chest X-ray and blood work done last Friday - ok. Next week a bone scan, an ultrasound on my abdomen followed by an MRI and then a masectomy. I have never heard of this type of cancer. I asked my oncologist what my long term prognosis was. She obviously could not give me an answer until all my test results are in. I was told that this type of cancer does not respond to chemo. I have myself dead and buried. Anyone out there can help me please?
