Do not think that detox will heal you. We know that is not true. DiDan, you need to quit talking nonsense and giving inaccurate information. Those of us who live this disease know what we need to do and what is best for us. Susan

I am sorry, but I don't understand what you mean. Detox from what? Everything that I have said is the truth. I came to this site to get help from those that may be going through this kind of Cancer. I lost my only Brother 3 years ago to Renal Cancer. I can not help that I live in the hills of TN. and we do not have the best doctors to go to. One lady wrote about MLB being a precursor to Leukemia. I emailed my GP and he said he would see if the Oncologist tested for it. If you would like me to prove what I have said, I will be happy to send you records and conversations from me and my doctor. I hate the word Cancer, I curse Cancer. I have lost to many friends and other relatives from Cancer. You just said why I posted here, to find out what worked for you all. Don't judge me and I will not judge you. Please tell me what kind of inaccurate information I have posted, I will be happy to show you anything you wish to see. I wish you the best, I wish anyone that is going through Cancer the best. Susan, you do not know how much you just hurt me. If you do not believe what I say, block me, don't read it, delete it, do not call me a liar. It is some doctors and people like you that have made me lose the will to keep finding help. I know where I am going when I die, and I will not lose what ever happens. If there are others here that feel like Susan, please let me know, I will post the blood work, other tests, whatever you want.

Susan, I owe you a apology, I saw your post before I saw the one that talked about Detox. I thought you were talking about me, but I realized you were answering the post of someone else that suggested Detox. Please forgive me,

David, I am sorry you misunderstood. I just did not want anyone to think all they have to do is go to a health food store, and be cured for anything. We all wish it was that easy, but unfortunately we know the only "cure" for MDS is a transplant which is very risky. I hope you are doing better David. I am a 3 1/2 year survivor with MDS/CMML.

You have to keep fighting David. Try to find a hematologist who specializes in MDS. We are all in the same boat. I have blood transfusions about every 10-15 weeks and pray they don't become more frequent. I have no problems yet with low platelets or white blood cells. I take one day at a time and live life to the fullest!

Hi, yes, they will arrange to fly you to them free of charge.  They will also cover the expense of flying someone with you.  They usually have an on-site hotel which rolls into your biling.  I didn't have to pay anything on my first visit.   They treat you like a person, and not a number.   They make every effort to let you know it's going to be ok and they will do everything in their power to get you back on your feet.   i would say to you, call them and they will get you in and let you know what's going on.

Thanks for the information, I am waiting for the results of the last Oncologist, but I did not care for him, and I do not think he will do the biopsy. We had talked about the Cancer Centers from the get go, but thought it would be to expensive. I will have to see if they are in our Network as well. I will let you know what happens.

                             Thanks again, David

I read your post to the other person that suggested going to a health store. Then later I realized that you were not talking to me.  I have learned to expect anything from some of the doctors I have seen, and never thought some nut would tell me all I needed to do was to Detox. It is obvious that she has not gone through what you and others have. I lost my brother 3 years ago to Renal Cancer, and I have watched others fight the good fight, but I have never known anyone that beat it. I am happy to hear that you are doing better. The first time that Cancer was mentioned to me was last Nov. I still am not being treated for anything. Some of the doctors just make a excuse about what the blood shows. It is so frustrating.  Thanks for understanding. David

So does that mean that you read the books that I suggested? or do you give your life over to the doctors and do no thinking for yourself. Read and educate yourself. that is we're healing starts.
