Hey Hop.....the reason that you don't get the shingles vaccine is that it's a live virus and people that have a compromised immune system don't get treated with live vaccines.....that is what my dr's nurse told me last month when I received my flu shot......

ya, and we have to take Acyclovir instead.

Well I'm in the hospital now came in yesterday for another infection in my inner thigh.  Surgeon came in late yesterday stuck a needle in me and drained it.  They are thinking it's connected with the foot infection I had end of August and maybe it spread in the blood. They might take out my port too not sure yet.
