Subject: Blood Pressure Side Effects on Nexavar

Hello everyone. I have written a couple of messages before and now my husband 59 has started it. He started it on Monday, Sept 4th. This weekend was pretty scary. His side effects were face flushing with outragious increases in blood pressure. From Friday till today ranging from 177/90 to 194/100 or 185/110. We went to our Emerg dept and they gave him a nitro patch to try to bring it down. It worked a bit but the bottom number remains between 90 and 100. The top number is ranging from 150 to 195. That is with no physical effort. The Oncologist didn't seem too alarmed and put him on a mild BB medication today and he will go again on Thursday to have it taken again. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms and do they subside? Man this is scary stuff. His face looks like he has a MAJOR sunburn.

Thank you for all your support thus far. We do appreciate it.
