I just turned 40 in June. I went to have my regular Pap test done. Everything was fine except my uterus was enlarged. All my other tests came back perfectly normal !! We did an ultrasound in which everything looked really good...but my uterus was enlarged 12cm I think he said. I have givin birth to 4 children. My gyn said that could very well be the cause. But.. he asked about my periods. They are regular, every 28 days as usual. I did tell him I felt they were a little heavier then usual lately. Now he wants to do a biopsy.(OMG) Input folks... does that sound necessary ? Do I have the symptoms of one with uterine cancer ? I am SO scared now. I am a worry wart anyway. ANY input you could give would be so appreciated. Thanks.
