i feel like we saw a miracle today

after a 2nd round of radiation (15 treatments), temodar for the same amount of time and 3 infusions of avastin, the doctor says other than a very small area around matthews pituatary gland, the cancer in his spinal fluid is gone! the primary tumor itself has shrunk just a little more too. he will keep taking the temodar for atleast 6 months and after 2 more infusions of avastin (once a month) the doc is going to try and stop it. it looks like maybe his optic was damaged so he still has double vision and the doc couldnt tell us if time would fix that too but says its possible. hes also pretty sure the tumor is a grade 3 even though the biopsy said 2.

i will never take a stable mri for granted again. all smiles and thanking the good Lord above for this blessed day. i pray for everybody here thats fighting or fighting beside one against this horrible beast

Thank you Matt I've had similar experiences-makes me remember those awesome outcomes from  some of my Mri's and they make you think of a longer living future at least until further MRI's, so lets work this out as long as possible...
