Oligo regrowth

Original dx 11/06' 85% resection, followed by 21 months of Temodar. Never got a clear MRI, but they remained stable until Oct. 1st, those dreaded words after almost 6 years, progression. New growth is inoperable, not a candidate for rads. Neuro-oncologist has offered Temodar again (I have both deletions, oligo ll) or Avastin. Could I get some input . They want me to start by next Wed. I have been off the boards for awhile and lost touch, anything else to go after this with or is this protocol? Thanks Everyone! KathyE

Kathy,

As you stated you were taking temodar for 21months and it seemed to hold everything at "stable". I think if you follow your "gut" you already no your choice. I know chemo is not easy as I did it for 2 years. The "fog" sucks.......

First of all, so sorry for recurrance. Your fight now picks up again. Based on the imaging do they think it has upgraded or still the same grade? Why is radiotherapy not an option?
