For the nausea- My husband ate plenty of the small cherry tomatoesbeforehis chemo sessions -also Zovirax nausea tablets one disolved on the tongue twice daily .

Food wise- home made chicken broth made with fresh carrots -onions leeks and table celery and of course a chicken-and lentils.

cornflakes every morning the only cereal he could tolerate

Other people have said this, I'll add to it:  a hot bath (as hot as Charles can stand).  Before I went off Temodar (400 mg oral) my upper legs were aching to beat the band, never had any pain anywhere else, except sometime my buttocks would ache, but not too bad.  Also back in May I had complained to my pain doctor that I had this growing pain in my left hip that I couldn't shake; she arranged for an Xray and the diagnosis was, of all things, arthritis.  OK, I already had GBM IV, neuropathy, take pills for my liver, blood pressure, check my blood sugar before I have a meal (pre-GBM I was not diabetic, that was an added bonus . . . NOT!!!) so what the heck, why not just throw in some arthritis so my joints don't feel neglected.  However, once I went off Temodar and began to exercise more (I've been on the treadmill, half mile at a time), the "arthritis" seems to be going away.

Anyway, a hot bath is good and certainly wouldn't hurt.  Just put on some music (I like jazz, especially Diana Krall), tell Charles to close his eyes and try to relax.  Don't be surprised if he falls asleep; sometimes I do :)

Remember, as it says on a t-shirt my sister sent me, "We are in it to win it!"

Vitamin B12 Sublingual, the kind that desolves under the tongue.

Calcium/magnesium helps with muscle cramps.

I would "STRONGLY" advise you to talk to your N.O., or Primary, or Internest before you start any vitamin or new thing.    J.
