I'm very sorry to see so many people going through this.  My mom is currently fighting this.  She received the diagnosis of Stage III, 4 days before her 70th birthday in July.  She's received chemo and radiation which seems to have shrunk the original tumor, but most recent scans shows it to have spread to her lower back area, so they've taken surgery off the table.
I understand what you're going through.  They've recommended more chemo and clinical trials, not as a cure, but as a way to beat the cancer back for a while.  MD Anderson in Houston supposedly has a great program for EC as well so I'm looking into appointments for her there.

this is almost exactly identical to where my grandfathers is except it is also on the ribs and lower abdomin.

Was your grandfather's Celiac Axis lymph node involved too?
