coln rectal cancer

hi. mty husband was diagonsed withe stage4 colon rectal cancer in 27/07/09. he had surgery ro remove the tumor it had spread to the lyphpms nodes and liver. so somebody said to him to trey this hemp oil.it only made the cancer spread more through out the liver. them he had surgery again in06/2012 for the liver and had some cheom.that helped for a while but in  january of this year it was back in the liver again more surgery.but unfortune this time they didn't get it.know it's backin the liver spine and leg area.they say there is only one treatment left to try xeloda. but i know fear it has spread to the brain his is confused dizzy moody just to say a few things.i wasnt to be strong but don't know what to do or say anymore.does anyone out there have some answers.does anyone know if his type of cancer can spread to the brain.                                                                                                          

Its probably not in the brain but its probably toxins building in the liver.  If he is not already lacatulose have your doctor prescribe it, it helps clear toxins out of the liver so people don't get that confusion in the brain.   Its like a laxative but for the purpose of clearing toxins and it works too.

My father had a colostomy for several years after his colon cancer surgery last 4 years. He got it removed and the colon rejoined. We have alote  several hundred dollars worth of Hollister and Concatec Ostomy supplies and want to donate them. Any suggestions as to who helps with this sort of thing?

i really want to donate them all, i do not want to throw them away

I donated my husband's stuff to the Home Health Care agency near my house and I gave some to the Wound Clinic -- just a suggestion.

No I am not there but I suspect that those particular kinds of places would like the supplies.  The wound clinics change the waifers and things like that, and Home Health can help people who need ostomy supplies who can't afford them.   Otherwise our colon surgeron's office did take some of our earlier supplies.

You could check to see if there is an Ostomy group in the area.  they may be able to take and distribute the supplies to someone who needs them.

My dad has a colostomy, and is living on social security. His medical bills are a huge portion of the check.

I would be interested in getting the supplies you have. He could probobly use them. He uses Hollister.
