Hi Reddy. Sorry to hear about your father's GBM. The current best known treatment is radiation in combination with Temodar (called Temodal outside the US). Is your dad getting the Temodar? With regard to food, we follow the diet outlined in the book _Anti-Cancer_ by David Servan-Schreiber.

Reddy, Temodar or Temodal is the brand-name of temozolomide, a drug which has been shown to extend the lives of GBM patients, especially when given with radiation. It is standard of care. The only reason not to give it with radiation would be a weak, elderly patient who the doctors didn't believe could withstand both treatments at once. But even if that was their decision, they should have told you. Where are you?

Have you researched Dr. Banerji?  He prescribes RUTA 6 for his patients.  He is from India.  There is a post on this website with many comments about his treatment.

Reddy-- Yes, that's Temodar. Good; glad to hear your dad is on it. I assume they will be increasing the dose in coming months after he's off the radiation. That's the protocol.

Hi.  So sorry to hear about your father.  I am answering this because you asked about food.

While this could be a really wordy answer, I will keep it short and if you want more message me privately but know that I am not on here often.

My husband did received "standard treatment" from Duke in 2003 after he was diagnosed.  (Same protocol as Kennedy I believe) Anyway, he opted out at least a year early as by that time we had discovered & believed it was about food.

Personally (And I have no medical background-just 9 1/2 years of self research) I would shift to a mostly or all raw vegan diet with lots of fresh green juices.  There is plenty of info out there on it and plenty of cancer stories.  I haven't really found any GBM stories accept ours.  Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.  Anyway, my husband has been cancer free since December of 2003.  That's what we attribute it to.

Healthy Blessings to you and yours!
