I can't talk about it face to face with people, cause i get too sad, so i talked to my computer screen.

I lost my father to brain cancer after an 18 year battle.

I am 17 years old.

Dear Harrison,

You have just given the most beautiful gift to everyone on Cancer Compass!  I hope you realize how much you are just like your father.  Your dad always said he was "perfect" even when life was less than perfect for him.  Surely, he didn't want you to be sad.  Now, you have made the vlog for others at a very difficult time in your life because you want others to have hope.  Like father like son!!!  You should be very proud of your dad, as I'm sure he has always been very proud of you.  It is heartbreaking to lose our loved ones, and my heart goes out to you at this time.  There are no words I can say that will take your pain away.  I wish you peace and love, Harrison!!!  You are strong just like your dad!  You have learned a great deal during the seventeen years you spent with your dad.  Thank you for the gift of hope. 

Hi i am so sorry for your loss i lost my father in 1998 with prostate cancer and i know how much it hurts. I lost my husband October 30th 2012 just 18 days after you lost your dad he had lung cancer in sep 2010 and went through treetments in march 1st 2011 till april 27 2011 he had 8 weeks og chemo and 55 radition treetments we thought it was gone he was doing good for a year and in april of 2012 he started feeling numb on his left side followed by seizures and by the 31st of may things got worse he had a heart attack and a bad seizure after a cat scan of the brain i cried he his right lung was full of cancer all his lymph nodes was full of cancer and it spread to his brain he was like your father never complained suffered headaches and seizures for 5 months and was under hospice care i was his caregiver i lost the love of my life my best friend my everything this christmas is so hard I spent 31 years of my life with him I know life goes on and all we have is our fond memories of our loved ones but i also know how hard it is because i didn,t just have to say goodbye to my father with cancer i also had to say goodbye to my husband sometimes i just don,t know how much we can take but god has a plan for us and i have to trust in him for everything
