Dr. Alexander is the neurosurgeon from Brigham & Women's in Boston that directed my early GBM treatment when I was first diagnosed in 1993.  The book tells of  his experiences while in a coma. It is very interesting especially since I know him.  Those of you that know GBM know it is truly a miracle that I will celebrate  20 years survival next month.  I know God blessed me and my family with a miracle.

God most certainly did bless you and your family.  How long has the book been in print?  I would like to read it.  If the book is about him witnessing Heaven, I am sure it changed his life and made it more purposeful.   Thank you for sharing.  J.

Kat54, My husband and I heard him being interviewed on the radio and ordered his book off Amazon the same day. It arrived 2 days later in usual Amazon fashion. Dan, being the patient, read it first and I am just starting. Dan felt it was pretty technical. The author is a neuro surgeon........among other things. Pretty impressive résumé. We find ourselves thinking about the hereafter a lot these past two years.

Kat, You truly are a miracle! I'm nearly done with Dr Alexander's book (Dan had chemo Thursday so have a little down time to read). I have really enjoyed the read and plan to take notes from a few chapters. Your knowing him has made it a more interesting read. So glad you posted. Pam
