. I had stage IV lung cancer with a pleural effusion. It was inoperable and they could not use radiation. I am now cancer free. I had Carboplatin, Taxol; and Tarceva100mg all at the same time. I continue to take Tarceva100mg. I have been taking it for over a year and they are not sure how long I will continue to take it. They tell me because I have no side effects, why not take it?
