When All Else Fails... Cannabidiol?

Hi all,

Just something I wanted to share...  I was reading through a lot of posts the past few weeks and a common theme that came up was "what do we do now?"  I'm not giving anyone any advice, but I wanted to share what we're going to do.

My husband's GBM is inoperable.  Radiation and Temodar did nothing positive for my husband and thankfully Avastin seems to be working (for now.)  Once the Avastin seems to lose it's effect, my husband is going to take Cannabidiol capsules.

You can look it up, and please look at valid scientific sites and medical journal articles (not wiki)  :)   It seems to have true promise and potential at actually fighting brain cancers with no negative side effects.

It is not illegal to purchase, since it doesn't contain any THC (i.e. it won't make you high) and you can buy it online from Dixie Botanicals.  It's expensive, I admit, but...  how much is a life worth?  I honestly don't know how much is needed to have it work, but you can get 25 mg capsules from this company online - it would cost about $200 a month.

Anyway, just something I wanted to share...  I know how horrible it can be and feel when there seems to be no hope and nothing else has worked...  hopefully my husband won't need this soon but as soon as we see any decline, he'll be starting on the Cannabidiol.

If anyone has tried this or does try this, please share your experience with us...  thanks!  (ps - it's also anti-inflammatory and is supposed to reduce pain and anxiety).

All the best,

Sarah

This ministry has been actively investigating phytocannabinoid supplements to the endocannabinoid system in our bodies as therapy in the treatment of cancers since 2008. A report on our investigations has been published that addresses the question of the use of Cannabidiol in treatment of Cancers and other cannabinoids. This report is available for free and lists one of the source material as the International Journal of Oncology which confirms that phytocannabinoid supplementation is effective therapy. An International patent issued to GW Pharma in their phytocannabinoid therapy is also linked on this Facebook published report. https://www.facebook.com/note.php?saved&&note_id=492

honestly, from what i've read i dont think you'd be able to get a high/concentrated enough amount from smoking to make a difference with the cancer.  it probably would help with nausea though...  have you tried acupuncture?  supposed to help and won't make you trip.  ;)

It's interesting that the pills you are purchasing do not contain THC which is the active chemical (or compound) that affects the cancer.

Potheads salivate at the idea of using these studies to rationalize the legalization of Cannabis, but it doesn't work that way.  The levels of THC needed to combat cancer cannot be reached via smoking.

One warning, THC has yet to be shown successful or with an efficacy better than any other therapy.  However, I do agree that if all other options have failed then there's probably no reason not to reach out to other alternatives.

All the best,

You will want to buy with THC in it ..without THC it is not effecttive for cancer and take the oil or the raw juice ...will be giving it to my Dad too when I can get hold of large amounts (thinking of juicing it)

Good luck and God bless

Zoe

Ps: Also do look up on 'Black seed oil'
