Categorizing tumors by cell type and not the organ they grow in may alter treatment, experts say

my brother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer level 4, tumors in liver and peritoneum. He started with folfurinox for 7 months without good results , liver tumor increased 3 cm, then treatment was shifted to gtx up to now, the last scan gave a 50 percent tumor reduction and tumoral analisys gave 100 (original value was 300), he has and excelent quality of life along with the usual quimo disturbances. One year of fight producing excelent results.
