I entered the hospital weighting 215.  I went out the door at 200.  Simple reason, they don't feed you!  I wanted to drop some weight but this is NOT what I had in mind!

That is so funny because after a month of my diagnosis I said the same thing! (after I lost 15 pounds from stress and anxiety)  "you want to lose weight?  Just get a diagnosis of a brain tumor!!!  you won't be able to eat for months" 

Humor you have to use it some how... and it is best to get rid of the anxiety that way!

Well at least that diet has worked for some.  I went from 207 to 230 due to dex,  even with 6 hrs a week of gym time.  I am official fat dumb, but happy.  I guess the only thing better is if I was fat, drunk and stupid.  Love the humor and remember pear is a body shape

Yeah - my 'chemo diet' worked really well.  As soon as I was done with my 12 months of Temodar the weight crept back on.

For those that lost weight on chemo and want to keep that up post adjuvant chemo cycles - I can suggest the ketogenic diet.  Since adopting it, I'm now below my chemo weight.  It's completely counter-intuitive given the seemingly unhealthy diet you have to follow.  It has the benefit of potentially killing GBM cells as well.

Before chemo I was approximately 200, during the seven months of treatment I dipped as low as 187.  Since then I've gone back up to 200, which is a good weight for my frame.  I attribute my weight gain to good eating and good loving :)
