Hi, I've just recently been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer with mets to my liver ( 20-30 tumors... The largest being almost 7cm) and its in my lymph nodes. I had a colon resection in Dec and was officially diagnosed in Jan ... Started chemo and my third treatment is this Monday. Folfiri/Avastin/5FU - the 46 hour infusion bottle ... My mind is still blown that in November I was a happy go lucky, amazing job, new boyfriend twenty eight year old and now I'm in chemo therapy, losing my hair and freaking out that I may not even see thirty!!!!!!! Does anyone have any advice for what I can do to improve my chances or know of things that help boost white blood cell counts / immune system etc... I seem to be sensitive to chemo in that regard .... Otherwise my side effects have been just hair loss and fatigue ... I count myself lucky!! Please help, anyone who can help shed some light on this crazy change I'm going through - it would be so appreciated Thank you
