my dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer 3 yrs ago. he responded well to BCG but it returned a yr and a half ago. again bcg worked well, but today the dr found a blockage in the ureter entering the kidney and he assumes there is cancer there. this likely means surgery to remove the kidney and ureter and possibly more...i am extremely nervous because he is obese and has some breathing problems. I am wondering if anyone has had a similar problem with bladder and kidney cancer and also if anyone has had the surgery overweight? If you any any advice about any of this, it will be much appreciated. Thank you and god bless.
