I hope you dont mind me posting on here. Im 19 a 19 yar old female and have been having various blood tests this last year. All of them has shown my red and white blood as being low and gradually declining. i was diagnosed with aneamia. Yesterday he read the actual results of my white blood which last time was 0.8 which i understand is very low. The doctor has done nothing regarding the white blood and will be testing me every month to see how it improves. A friend brought up Leikemia as some of my symptoms match. Especially the colds etc about a year ago i suffered from almost constant colds but this past 12 months have been better. Did anyone else get diagnosed this way? or am i looking for answers in the wrong place? Thanks for reading x

The first indications of leukemia often are nonspecific or vague. They may occur with other cancerous as well as noncancerous disorders. Although signs and symptoms vary for each type of leukemia, there are some general features. Broad symptoms of leukemia may include: Fatigue. Malaise (vague feeling of bodily discomfort). Abnormal bleeding. Excessive bruising. Weakness . Reduced exercise tolerance. Weight loss. Bone or joint pain. Infection and fever. Abdominal pain or "fullness". Enlarged spleen, lymph nodes, and liver. The only way to confirm the diagnosis is with a bone marrow biopsy. Something is going on, I would demand that your doc refer you to a hematologist/oncologist.
