my daugther was Diagnosed with synovial cell sarcoma, at the age of 14years old. We first found it on left side of abdomen very large. She completed one years of chemo and radiation...then 8 months later...back again! This time had spread to right side of abdomen and on top of liver...another chemo called ifosomide for 7 days, we did this and radiation for another 6 months. 9 months later we just had surgery and 5 spots in lungs...she just turned 18 years old and graduated from high school. We were told that we needed to go to a research hospital. We were just recently went to U OF M Hospital in ann arbor, MI. We will be trying something very new out.
PLEASE, know this.. that where your wife is going to be treated that she should be ONLY treated with sarcoma oncologist.
