Avastin

My mom has had 8 treatments of chemo- and now there going to add Avastin cause they found some new tumors. what kind of side effect should we watch for and what can help it.

I've had avastin for 3 cycles now, and find the side effects to be next to nothing- I have no heart or stroke or high blood pressure problems, tho- I think avastins main side effects are those-. The one side effect I think I have is poor healing- my first port incision opened after a month and I had to have it removed. The tissue had died and the surgeon had no explanation for it- there was no infection. So, since one side effect of avastin is slow healing, I've decided thats what happened.
