this is to Xinenun, about how someone cared very highly for their pet, and how this person was ashamed to be in same category as an animal.
I too am a pet lover, and we have every right to voice our love(s) for our family members as people without pets - but posting of their love for their human family members.
the only difference is one has two legs, and the other has four legs. did not God have compassion on both men and animals when he made them?
God gave each of us a beating heart, and we are to use that in the most usable way possible...
and loving all family members, whether they be man or beast should pretty well sum it up!
Your pain is just as real as the pain of a lost family pet - God made each and every one of us from the dust of the earth ... man and beast.
God gave you a compassionate heart -- use it for Christ sakes -- and let the love of God shine to others, whether they be of the human kind or the animal kind. A bitter heart reaps what it has sown - no love for a family that has pets?
Your own self may meet a worser fate than your fablous father, who probably had a better understanding heart than what you showed to Allen in his time of grief.
Pain can walk two ways if you let it.
I'd think on these things and write that man back and let yourself be renewed in the pain that you caused him - and just maybe the lORD will bless you with life after death; and
without the pain of knowing how ugly you were to someone else in need of comfort for the lost of
their loved one.
