Hi I'm 53 years young, I had mole removed some eight to night years ago. Was free until about 2 years ago. I have had 4 operations 3 to remove melanoma from the nodes etc from under my left arm pit and part of my right kidney removed with renal cancer.
I have just been informed that I now have a spot in my left lung which is about 1cm. an grown since my August CAT scan. Also I have a shadow on the wall of my right lung. I have a PET scan this friday 1/12/06 to determine what cancer it is, but oncologist lean toward the melanoma. If thats the situation, will be referred to Surgoens who will then decide if worth while operating as oncologist indicates that there is a 90% chance it will return. it appears all avenues are exhausted and I need to know if anyone has used successfully any alternative medicines.
