Mazzy's Husband Starts Sutent Again Today

Hello everyone. Well hubby got the all clear today after being off sutent for 3 weeks. 3 weeks on 3 weeks off. So here we go again Day 1 of cycle 2. Thanks for all your support. Mary

Happy to hear your husband has once again stated Sutent. I wish him best of luck! I'm here now eating licorice for dessert. I go for my C-scan report on Thursday afternoon, so wish my luck. I will let you know how I do. It's very cold here all day and we're expecting our first little snowfall overnight, about 2-4cm. Guess it has to begin. Thanks for all your encouraging words Mazzy, it is much appreciated.

Willard, good luck this afternoon. I have confidence that your doctor will come through big time with excellent news. Normally I would recommend ice cream to celebrate but you might want to switch to something hot since it's so cold. My wife would say a HOT fudge sundae.

My report shows that my cancer has not spread....great news....also there has been a decrease in the tumor in my adrenal gland....even better news!!! I am excited and relieved. Sutent is working and in only two treatments it has done wonders for me. I will have another scan after another two cycles on the drug. Thanks to all of you for your great support and encouragement. Without it, I would not be able to be so positive and keep things into prospective. Mazzy, Joe, Bunker, Lissa have all become my extended family since discovering this website. It's a great place to compare notes, ask questions and get an abundance of good cheer. Have a great weekend everyone and keep the faith!

Willard, when I saw that I had a new message today and it was titled "good news everyone" I just grinned because I KNEW it was from you. I couldn't get to the message board quick enough to read it. CONGRATULATIONS. This has to be a confirmation for you that you've chosen the right treatment and serve as an inspiration to everyone currently taking Sutent. Hang in there buddy.
