I was diagnosed with squamous cell of the lung probably originating from the skin. I had 10 chemo sessions and was fine for 13 months. In August there was a very slight growth of the lung nodules and I went immediately on 150mg of Tarceva. My face looked like an exploded pizza within four or five days, it was horrible. The problem I seem to get on Tarceva is shortness of breath, wheezing, and cough. I go off of the drug for about 10 days every two weeks. So far after about 60 pills all seems stable and there is no sign of growth. Has anyone else had the same symptoms?? They seem to diminish when I go off the drug for the 10 day stretch.
