Post Esophagectomy Cancer Metastisized To Spine

Subject: Post esophagectomy cancer metastisized to spine
Date: 12/16/2006
My 61 year old husband had an esophagectomy in May of 2005.  A CT scan this past week showed a dark area on his spine.  A bone scan performed yesterday showed a possible spot on a rib and his spine.  What should be his next course of action?  A Pet scan or a biopsy?  Thanks!
