Medicaid with AML

I get medicaid through SSI, and I need to know if CTCA takes that insurance? Do I have to live in the state where the CTCA is at? Also, I was diagnosed March 2001 and after 4 rounds of chemo, was in remission October 2001. Now, a year later, I started feeling bad and was found to be out of remission. They are talking BMT. However I have no siblings nor living parents. I am searching for alternatives, now. Are there alternatives and what are the success rates? Testimonies? Thanks for your help Paulette

Hi Paulette, I just left a message on Frank message board as well. I am so sorry to hear of your relapse. I know this second time around the chemo that my mom is being treated with is used for tumors as well. There is something that someone sent me that actually had a family member healed with it. I don't know much about it so I certainly would do some more research. My mom was not interested in anything other than conventional medicine. It is Essiac Tea and cannot be sold as a cancer healer but there are many testimonials to its success. It might be something to look into. There are many websites regarding it. http://essiac-info.org/ http://www.essiacinfo.org/ http://www.ftc.gov/os/2000/04/millerattachmenta.htm http://www.ralphmoss.com/essiac.html. Again, do your research. I am curious. It has been some time since your first posting. How are you doing? Looking forward to hearing from you. Lori M.
