How do lifestyle factors and exposure to environmental substances affect our cancer risk?

my husband with sclc back in april of this yr .. he has been on two different kinds of chemo and they havent worked .. he begins his third in jan .. has anyone gone through a few before its taken hold .. i would appreciate your replies .. such a scary time .. god bless ..

He tried 3 rounds of chemo ..if i can remember right. He was diagnosed at last stage so the chemo did not work for him. The cancer kept metasizing everywhere...stomache, liver, bones, and final was brain. He was in a LOT of pain, couldn't get comfortable on lots of pain medicine ...morphine, etc. which scared me. But the last few days...I hope he had enough. He got to point he couldn't or couldn't remember( or both) swallow. I was with him those 3 months from dianosed till death in June. I wrote a journal everyday of meds, well being, etc. I havent looked at that book (his journal ) since he died six months ago. I do know everyone is different, and depends on progession of cancer. . I know it is hard to go through. Feeling like on a roller coaster at times. I wish you and your husband the best care/treatment and luck. You never know if your the one the treatment will work/heal. I hope so. Your in my prayers.
