Has anyone done the efudex treatment on their lips? I am doing it for AK along with my entire face. 3 weeks for my face, I'm into my 12th day and I did the lips for 8 days. My lips are very swollen and stinging with dripping yellow crusting scabs. Really gross. Is this NORMAL? Using Polysporin on lips but it stings worse and doesn't seem to help. Will the lips eventually dry up and scab and any idea how long it will take? Thanks

I just replied "privately" to this Email, but then realized it will not show up on the message board.  Is there anybody else out there who has used Efudex on the lips?  I start tomorrow, and my Dr. warns me it will be ugly, crusty, oozing, and sore.  How bad is it?  What can I do to help if it hurts a lot?  My Dr. suggested I hide-out for 2 weeks!  Is it so bad you can't go out in public??  I would be interested in anybody's experience, to help me along for the next couple weeks.
