Dear Alison,

You mentioned your husband's anti-siezure meds are Keppra and Lamictal. May I ask if there were any additional side effects with the addition of Lamictal? We are on 3000 mg a day of Keppra and docs want to keep meds to a minimum as long as the seizure frequency does not increase (about 3-5 a day).

Bob--You and Toby are in my prayers and thoughts every day.

Hi Denice,

He had no additional side effects from the addition of Lamictal.  As a matter of fact, it improved his overall feeling.  Prior to being on Keppra and Lamictal, he was on Keppra and Trileptal, and that made him "zombie like."  I hope that helps.

Peace...

Alison
