Eus

Hi,

     I am taking my mother to MUSC today for an EUS and to talk to doctors to plan treatment. We saw a lung Dr yesterday. He said my mothers lungs are awful. About 30% functional. She could remain on ventilator after surgery. We have to see what this Dr today tells us. She may say no go. I don't know what to hope for except that whatever my Mom chooses is the best way for her. I wanted to ask everybody out there that prays to please pray for us. Thank you all.

It's me again.  After I responded to your last message I wanted to find your story and it didn't take me long.  I was wondering how you made out today with your mother.  Isn't waiting awful.  It seems like you hear the bad news and then you have to wait to see what's next.  I hope your Mom is doing ok.  I will respond on a regular basis if you just want to chat.  My husband will be having surgery hopefully this month, that is really the only time I may be away from my computer.  It always helps to talk to someone who knows what you're going through.  If I can help please let me.
