Does anyone know anything about this? From doing research it seems like this may be the best for my mom. I am 25 and want to do what ever I can to make her better. She has stage IV pancreatic cancer which we just found out has spread to her liver. She had a biopsy done last week and it came back positive for more neuroendicrine cancer cells. They are doing another nuclear dye test in two weeks to determine if the cancer is anywhere else before talking to us about treatment and/or surgeries.....

Any information would be great. I am scared.

I know we kept this in mind for my dad who had colon cancer with liver mets. B/c the liver isn't the primary site, the patient isn't eligible for an anonymous liver transplant b/c the cancer could attack that new liver, but I do know if you have a large enough liver and you are compatible, there are more and more cases of this taking place....you are right, it is a very viable option if the rest of the cancer can be stalemated.

Best of luck

You may want to talk to someone from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  They are the top hospital for pancreatic cancer.

When I got colon cancer with mets to the liver, I started keeping articles about top doctors and hospitals.  I'll see if I can't find out who the Dr. was and post it.

I saw it in a medical magazine that another Dr. had this, and went to the NCI to find the top Dr.  They recommended this place.

Robert Redford also took his son here when he was ill.
