Hi, I had to postpone the start of treatment because I am sick and had to go on an anitbiotic.  I start on April the 7th now.  Keep in touch and let me know how you are doing.  My biggest fear is how will I be able to handle this withmy 2 kids 10 and 12 and all their activites.  However, maybe it won't be all that bad.  Any other tips from those of you who have already done this treatment.  Any news on how successful it was.  I spoke to my doctor and this is the only treatment option I have for now.  Best to you.

I was also curious how your Efudex treatments were going. I just had my first treatment on Monday and I will continue once a week for 9 more weeks. I had a pap last May and since then, I've had 4 biopsies, cryo, leep, and a cervical/vaginal ressection. This Efudex treatment is the last thing my Dr. knows to do. He won't do a hyst. because the abnormal cells have moved to the vaginal walls. He will refer me to an oncologist if this treatment fails. I'm not getting my hopes up too high considering he keeps reassuring me that the treatments ususally work. I keep getting let down. It's hard for anyone in my life to understand becauses this isn't a common thing. I'm hoping and praying the Efudex works. So far, it hasn't been so bad. I felt bad for 2 days, but today i'm feeling ok. I'd like to hear from others who have had the treatment already or who are further along in the treament.
