Does anyone know what the prognosis is for cervical cancer once it has gotten into the vertebrae and spread to other bones and some lymph nodes? My mother has just begun her third episode with cervical cancer. We know it is bleak. I do not have the heart to ask her doctor in front of her, but he indicated they would just treat her pain from here on out. I want to know how many more weeks, months, I may have with her. I am able to take off work if I absolutely need to , she isn't hospitalized yet.
