and have started reading some of the messages. I don't know if other cancer sufferers will find the answers they are searching for, but I think that the support means so much. I guess that you could say that I have sort of gotten used to my cancer. It comes and goes. Sometimes it's in one spot and other times it is somewhere else. I deal with it with varying degrees of seriousness.....and, I must say with a certain degree of success. I am part Native American and part German. I don't subscribe at all to the German side even though I appear to look like it. (I hope I'm not boring you....I'm getting to the point. I promise!) Anyway, I find that I totally tend toward the Indian way of doing things (more nature centered), and, consequently don't deal with allopathic doctors. I have found some natural alternatives that have seemed to help me quite a bit, and thought I might share a couple of those here, and likewise look forward to discovering some new ideas I might be able to add to my healing practices. I am using the computer at the library and they are about to close, so I'll make this quick! Since cancer sufferers of all persuasions cannot digest fats of ANY KIND, I have found Dr. Johanna Budwig's flaxseed diet ESSENTIAL. It is all that I eat. She has a recipe using flaxseed oil and cottage cheese that makes the oil water soluable thereby offering all the benefits w/o the undigestibility and therefore the unuseability. I never realized the FSO could un-saturate each and every cell membrane in our bodies thereby allowing all nutrients to get in , garbage to get out , and the membrane to breathe with O2. This discovery alone has probably helped me to heal more than anything else that I've done. And, it can be used for everyone who has every type of cancer. Anyway, I have to go. Thanks and I will be looking for helps also. Linda
