Kathy,I am very sorry for this diagnosis. Mine had metastisized into the lymph nodes and I was stage 4. Bad news! I have been through exactly the same thing for the past year. Especially the finances. First, know that God knows and is there and wants to help you. Second, find a teaching or Catholic Hospital. For me it was St. Francis in Tulsa. A single mother of 6 is very tough all by itself, and the next months are going to be very difficult, so if you do not have a church, please seek one out for support,. You will need it. I don't know where you live, but there are ways to find out online for Hospitals that will work with you financially. My name is Angela and I will be praying for you. Again, I am sorry, but your prognosis is what God decides not any doctor. Keep positive, and only allow people who are uplifting to be around you and your children. Also, there are grants and benevolance funds you can apply for at the Hospitals. Ask about these. Approx. $80,000.00 was paid for me. The rest is managable and I pay a small amount each month.
