My mother was diagnosed with pancreatic and bile duct cancer end of May 06, her immediate signs were jaundice, loosing alot of weight, loss of apetite, very tired, severe pains in the left side of her stomach and back! she was takent to our local hospital who thought it was gallstones, but then got a professor from a more advanced hospital to take a look confirming it was Cancer of the pancrease!  she was then taken to a new hospital and booked in for a whipples procedure, she had a stent put in her bile duct to take away the jaundice and to help with fluid! seemed to work perfectly! her operation went well taking away her spleen, gallbladder part of bile duct removed and stomach! She got to come home! for months she was given chemotherapy treatments 1 day a week for 5-6 months!

Everything seemed to work excellent at this time, she was up and about on the days she wasnt getting chemo and seemed to eat well etc. she couldnt get chemo due to her blood levels for about 1 month! during that time she seemed to become jaundice again, and it seemed to start all over, she refused to go to the doctors and wanted to see xmas day and new year out! we taken her january 6, the cancer at this point seemed to be in the bile duct now, they then told us that it was not operable and they wanted to do some more chemo injection form along with pill form! I had so much hope, she was booked in last thursday 25th for her chemo! she went along being told there was nothing else they could do as the chemo they wanted to start with wouldnt take any remaining cancer cells away, all they could do was start clinical trials that would most likely shrink or make life a bit easier for my mother in her last days!!!

i cant believe whats happening to us, my father seems to not cope well, my sisters are all trying their best, everytime my mother talks about her grandchildren thats when she gets angry about her death, my sister is expecting her 2nd child in august, we havent been told how long we all have together! my younger sister is 16 years old, im 19, my other sisters are early 20s, my father 45, my mother 45!

im hoping for a miracle.

 God bless x
