I don't understand what your message is saying...is this a new treatment for soft tissue cancer? My sister has angiosarcoma...a direct result from radiation she received for breast cancer 15 years ago...she is currently being treated with chemo-therapy and interferon an experimental combination that city of hope put her on. She had been doing well...but the combination is no longer effective...her prognosis is terminal...any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if this is relevant but thought I'd share it.
My husband had a large sarcoma in the thorax and it was
inoperable because it was entwined with all the major
vessels in the chest cavity. They did 6 rounds of
aggressive chemo, doxirobicin and insofamide and the
tumor is gone. They plan now to monitor with CT scans
every 2 months.

and I am encouraged, Helen, by your husband's response to the protocol he was on.

My mom has been through two intensive rounds of chemo with Doxorubicin (Adriamycin) and Ifosfamide (Ifex) along with Mesna to protect her stomach and kindeys from the effects of chemo.

Her treatments are basically 72 straight hours of chemo, and then 18 days off. She has just finished her second cycle, and we're hoping the chemo has shrunk the tumor enough to give the neck surgeon enough room to move in there and get her CLEAN MARGINS!!

Hello Miss,

thank you very much for sharing your thoughts on this. My sister-in-law who is 32 years of age, has recently been diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer in her stomach leaning to the right of her stomach, and it pressing against one of the blood vessel. She is going throug the fifth Chemo tomorrow , October 16, 2007. Would you please be kind enough to give me a call at (925) 876-4976, and if you could speak with her, it would be a tremendous emotional support. Since your husband healed , God bless him, and ask him to speak with her for few minutes please. I will look forward to hearing from you.

God Bless,

Kabir Kazimi
