My spouse was diagnosed lung cancer about 3 years ago.
In April 2005 she has been removed left lung, but then she fand out that cancer was still there.
In june 2006, after 4 chemo sessions, she experienced such a bad reaction that the doctors decided to stop classical cisplatin chemo sessions.
November 2006 she started with TARCEVA.
Today she received the results for the CT and she fand out that TARCEVA did not work as she expected.
As a matter of fact although the cancer did not spread since last CT (September 2006) its mass has not reduced.
The doctors decided to go on and suspend TRACEVA treatment, in order to treat the cancer with TAXOTERE.
What are the results for TAXOTERE tratement. Is there anyone who experienced TAXOTERE succesfully?
