My mother was just diagnosed with spine cancer and successfully received radiation to reduce the pain. Since some pain persisted, she is now on 2.5 mg of Oxycodone. I inquired about Quadramet to the rad onc but he said she was not a candidate as he uses it for multiple location patients. Where does  does your father have his bone cancer? How did your oncologist decide to use it with your father. Any info will be helpful. Thanks

Michael

I am a candidate for Samarium 153 on March 6. Please advise if your father had any bad experience with this medicine. My doctor told me that I could have problems with red, white cells as well as plateletes and possible blood transfusions. Did he experience any of this after the medicine was given? Please help.
