Mickies Wed, 28 Feb 2007 00:00:00 GMT My dad has just been diagnosed with bone cancer.  He has it in the base of the skull, back and in the hips.  What can we expect?  He had prostate cancer 10 yrs ago and he was told in Dec.06 that he had cancer in 1/3 of his kidney and 1/2 of his lungs.  He is 67 years old. They put a stent in his kidney to drain it.  He was admitted to the Hospital 4 days ago with Pnemonia. That is when they did a bone scan and found the cancer in his bones and the locations.  We are shocked. What can we do next? How much time does he have? What questions do we need to ask? We don't know what stage or what type it is. The doctor told him that it is terminal? What does that mean for my dad right now? How much time does he have?
