Hello my husband has had lung cancer since last March 2006. He was told he cannot have surgery since his tumor is too close to the heart and some valves. He has had three rounds of different chemos and radiation. He is now taking alimta and tarceva. Which he had to stop since he was getting really red and alot of pimples. The doctor said to start again in a few days. He also had laser done on the tumor in his bronchial tube to ease a really bad cough he has especially at night. He has been running fevers everynight for about a month. He has sweats and gets hot and cold. I have to change our sheets it gets so bad sometimes. He is a strong man always worked hard which has helped him be strong. My faith in the Lord has held us together also I dont know how I would have made it without my saviour. Please send any information that would be helpful. Thanks and God bless. Please pray for us. Please let me know how I can pray for you too.

I have been diagnosed with the same cancer and I am 49 years old. I have 3 boys and a 5 year old grandson and I feel for you. I have accepted it and the fact it is inoperable. I am sure the hardest thing for your husband is knowing he will be leaving you behind with so much sadness and grief, for that is all I can think of with my children.Don't be afraid to discuss it with him for I imagine he is more worried about you than you are about him.I will pray for you and your family. Be strong and fight!
