hi to everyone,
my mother in october was diagnosed with a tumour in her pancreas. she had her whipple procedure done and has finished her radiation therapy and is on her chemo. I read alot of people getting GEMZAR and wanted to know if this is better than leucavorin. They took the whole tumour out and it didnt spread but the surgeon did see some cells under the liver hence the reason why she is on radiotherapy and chemotherapy. She is doing well and thank god shes alive to see her everyday and it looks very promising as they caught it early enough and experienced syptoms you get only in the later stages of the cancer.has anyone gotten leucavorin is it a good source?Has anyone been through the same thing of catching the tumour early enough? My mom is young only 48!!!doesnt smoke doesnt drink!!but hey ...its life... any post from anyone would be great!
Thanks
jeisen
