My mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last July. We took her to Baltimore Maryland and tried to have the tumor surgically removed, however surgery was unsuccessful. The tumor is wrapped around the portal vein. Anyway, my mother came home and started chemo. Now her Dr. told her, her chemo isn't working. He wants to start a different chemo. He also told her there is no hope, to just try to hang on until they find a cure. My mother is now in Zion, IL. she is seeking treatment at the Cancer Treatment Center of America. She has asked me to post this message to see if anyone has been helped by the Cancer Treatment Center of America in her similiar situation. Any information would be greatly appreciated. God Bless!
